Growth Marketing Intern

The Growth Marketing Intern role is a combination of analytics and implementation, with a tight feedback loop, and crosses Marketing, Business Development and Product functional areas. For the right person, this role is a unique opportunity to be “in the room where a tech startup happens”, resulting in valuable experience and resume value.

Our product is an AI-powered, cross-platform information organization & search tool that lets users instantly find the information they need - whether it’s a document, local file, an email attachment, or a web page, wherever it lives in the cloud.

This is a ground-floor opportunity in an emerging space. We’re pre-revenue, completing an active beta, ramping toward launch this fall. You’ll be joining a small, experienced, collaborative team to help finish polishing the product and put it on the radar screen.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Identify venues where users are discussing services like ours, where we can get in on the conversation, invite users, discuss the platform

  • Experiment with guerrilla marketing, track new sign-ups and engagement by source

  • Recommend SEO best practices on company’s web presence

  • Conduct go-to-market experiments, focused on various target sub-segments

You’ll need to have:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and current marketing practices

  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills

  • An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude

The company is based in San Mateo, California, but this is a virtual role, part of a team that operates virtually.

This internship will benefit someone who is interested in marketing, business development, technology, and entrepreneurship.

We’ve defined the internship as a one-term opportunity, through mid-December 2021, with an opportunity to extend into 2022 if mutually agreed.

To apply send your resume and an email introduction to dow@dokkio.com.

Please add "Growth Marketing Intern" to the email subject line.
